Back in the nineties, when you were born, boomers like the Iron Corpse owner / chief rebel executive created their unconditional love towards cassette tapes. Cassettes were the go-to format, when it came to introducing yourself to new music by trading tapes, dubbing and recording from radio programs, recording your band on 4-track etc.

A widely known concept of the time was tape compilations. There were a multitude of bedroom labels pushing out great and not so great compilations, which helped you dig further into the undergdound hole. Most compilations in the nineties didn't have a specific genre or style - you would find punk, metal and noise all together without genre restrictions. Many compilations also included a small booklet with art and liner notes.

V/A LAND OF SODOMITES revives this spirit. Thematically, it celebrates the lifestyles against concervative christian values. Musically, there are no boundaries.
